Hello and welcome to our first session together. Please come in, lie down and make yourself comfortable.

This is the starting point of a journey that this blog is going to take through the worlds of psychology and storytelling. We are going to be looking at both subjects in detail and exploring how psychology can be used to enhance your fiction. We will be looking at all the different aspects of storytelling along the way, but our main focus is going to be on creating characters. If you are a writer and you are worried that your characters are uninteresting, unoriginal, cliched, lacking in depth or one-dimensional rather than three, this blog is here to help.
